An early 19th Century French verge watch and chatelaine in an unusual gold and enamel half hunter case set with diamonds and pearls. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator. Signed engine turned gold dial, small central chapter of white enamel marked in Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Unusual 18 carat gold case with ribbed middle. The covers decorated in translucent dark blue enamel over an engine turned ground with diamond set rings. Bezels set with a row of split pearls with matching pearl set chatelaine.
